impressions of paris during my second visit (first was in 2011ish):

• french food is overrated. the best thing i ate was falafel in the marais

• french food in nyc > french food in paris. like actually i was homesick for lucien and raoul’s

• europeans in tech have FOMO for american startup culture

• paris metro is eerily clean
